We are all food photographers.
In our kitchens, the local pizzeria, in restaurants and cafes – before we even take the first bite, we all whip out our smartphones, snap a photo and post it online. Facebook, Instagram and other social networks are overflowing with mouthwatering photographs of food, uploaded by amateur and professional food photographers.
The dishes designed for the Foodography project were created in order to enhance the photography experience and make smartphone photography into art, all for the ultimate goal -'Likes'.
The dishes include a rotating plate for video photography, a plate whose backside acts as background, dishes that are podiums for enhanced composition, and a dish that creates fog using dry ice.
The Foodogrpahy project was created for Carmel Winery, in collaboration with Chef Meir Adoni, photographer Dan Perez, and Baumann Ber Rivnay advertising firm.
