The Museum of Empiric Values is a technological platform that creates a uniform method for evaluating, creating, exhibiting and trading art.
Its main goal is to discredit the "true" value of art, and expose the fragile construct of art evaluation. At the museum, we create reproductions of artwork by weaving imagery using Jacquard looms, picked from the constantly changing stream of data available on the pieces, obtained through Google Trends. The woven fabrics are a visual representation of the popularity of an art piece, and are used as an objective measure for evaluating its worth.
